To correct my first comment, there is a way to make tiles move in the direction you want, but at least for now I will leave it to you to figure out.

I think it might be a neat idea to make a version similar to the old original one, but that also lets you merge tiles that are diagonally next to each other (in addition to the normal vertical and horizontal merging). So youd have to watch for more possibilities to merge, but it would give you more possibilities to merge before running out of room. A version like that might be enough to make it reasonably possible to win.

Really possible to win lol. Yeah compared to the old game which most of the time wasnt possible. In this version the board always leaves 3 spaces open for tiles to move around. Might have to wait for tiles to line up, but to anyone that might complain about that, I will pre-emptively say that in the old version, every time you had to wait with a nearly full board was potentially a chance for you to lose. So be grateful its just waiting instead of losing.
