For tips on winning, on the first turn you can sink the top left or bottom left ball into its nearest corner hole, by aiming slightly off center at the ball in the front. Sometimes you can sink another ball in one of the side holes on this shot too. Then just keep getting points, even if its just white ball points so that it stays your turn and to build a lead as much as possible. Even if the best you can do is tie go for it, so you dont level down, or lose first move advantage if you still have it. Opponent does not miss much and may even sink balls on the first turn in the same manner. Thankfully newer games arent this hard anymore.

 

Well I finally beat it... wow. I must apologize for an earlier comment. You do not start over if you lose a round, just level down which you can see near the top left. I thought otherwise because both channels always show the same content regardless of what level you are on! This also means there is no unique reward for beating the game other than getting to watch in peace! Otherwise, if you take too long to make a move the channel will switch back to educational, but you will not level down. Very odd design, but its old.

You pretty much have to be a pro or sink most of the balls in one turn to win these old pool games. As usual not only does the AI almost never miss, but in this particular game if you lose one round you have to start all over which is overly cruel.

 

The AI is stupidly overpowered. It started the round and knocked 6 balls in, ending the round without me doing anything. - Level for that?
